When you add up the state and federal funding and revenue from current local parcel taxes, our schools receive significantly less than the average California school. And yet, our schools consistently outperform schools that receive far more - including private schools charging $60,000 a year in tuition.
That’s not an accident. It’s the result of exceptional teachers, a deeply engaged community, and over 45 years of MEF donors refusing to let a funding gap define what’s possible here.
