New Families
MEF welcomes you to the Moraga school community!
MEF raises significant funds each year to support the Moraga School District and Campolindo High School.
MEF’s primary way of raising funds is through its Annual Giving Campaign, which runs from July until June. During this time, MEF asks families, community members, and businesses to give. For families of current students, the recommended annual donation is $1,700 per student.
MEF supporters generously host Pay-to-Play Parties throughout the year that benefit Moraga schools and give us all a chance to get to know each other better!
MEF also holds an Annual Auction Gala and an Online Auction in the spring where we come together as a community, celebrate our excellent schools, and raise funds for the Annual Campaign.
In the spring, the Moraga School District and Campolindo High School submit grant requests to the MEF Board for the following academic year. These grants supplement the schools’ budgets and create educational possibilities that wouldn’t otherwise exist.
Invest
It is only with your investment that we can turn good public schools into great public schools. We recommend an annual investment of $1,700 per student, but what is most important is that every family participates. So please donate at a level that is meaningful to your family.
Volunteer
MEF is run by over 100 volunteers. We have so many opportunities to get involved, from communications and event planning to finance and investment. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact us at MEF@moragaeducation.org and we will find a role that works for you!
Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved in your child’s school. You can volunteer for MEF, join your school’s PTA or Parents’ Club, work in the classroom, or be a part of a variety of committees that help our schools excel. Reach out to your principal to find out more about what’s available at your child’s school.
“I would put Campo and the opportunities our students have up against any private school in the Bay Area. We know this is not due to state funding; it is due to local support, including grants from MEF.”
Dr. John Nickerson, Acalanes High School District Superintendent
