Our Time is Now
For 43 years, families and community members have supported Moraga’s schools with donations to MEF. It is our turn now to continue to tradition of giving and to ensure that Moraga’s students receive the excellent education that inspired us all to move here.
Every student benefits from MEF grants, so we ask every family to contribute at the level that is right for them. For those who want guidance, the recommended annual contribution is $1,700 per student. But many families give less, and many give more. The important thing is that you participate a the level that is right for you. Every donation makes a difference!

Make a one-time donation or become a Sustaining Donor by setting up monthly contributions.

When you contribute by a check sent in the mail, there are no credit card fees.

It can be tax-advantageous to donate appreciated stock to a nonprofit.

It’s simple to make a donation to MEF through your Donor Advised Fund.

If you’re giving later, it helps our schools plan their budgets when you pledge early.

Honor Roll Levels
Members of the MEF Honor Roll give $5,500 or more during the Annual Giving Campaign. This includes donations to the Giving Campaign and the “Raise Your Paddle” portion of the MEF Auction Gala but does not include amounts paid for raffle tickets or auction items where an item of value is received.
In acknowledgement of their significant contribution, members of the MEF Honor Roll receive special recognition, an invitation to a thank you event in the fall, early access to Auction Gala tickets, and an invitation to a town hall with school administrators.

DONATE AN AUCTION ITEM
MEF holds an online auction and an Auction Gala every year. If you have an item to donate, such as a gift card, vacation home, or any other item, you can turn it into money for our schools by donating it to our auction! To donate an item, email MEFSpecialEvents@gmail.com.

HOST A PAY-TO-PLAY PARTY
Community members host parties throughout the year, and MEF sells tickets to those parties to benefit our local schools. If you are interested in learning more about making an impact while building community, click here to learn more or email MEFSpecialEvents@gmail.com.

When you enroll in a Lafayette Academy program (except private tutoring), mention "MEF" and you will get 10% off one of their many programs, and an additional 10% of what you pay will go to MEF. Participating merchants contribute each time you make a purchase using your free grocery loyalty or debit/credit cards that are registered with eScrip.
